Tea Cozy

Hi guys, what a week it has been.... feel really down and stressed at the moment so I've been trying to shut myself in my craft room and forget about everything by throwing myself into making my cards. Anyway I made a birthday card for one of my friends. Here it is....

I used ....

Papers: Papermania 'sweet nothings' paper pack

Image: Penny Black 'Tea Cozy' coloured with ProMarkers

Flowers: Prima

Sentiment and dots: from my stash

I have entered this card into the following challenges

http://crazy4challenges.blogspot.com/ 'Pretty in Pink'

http://pennybfriendssaturdaychallenge.blogspot.com/ 'Something Sweet'

It's the first time i've ever entered any challenges, so I'm quite excited to finally give it a go!

Get well soon Gorjuss!

Me again! Wow what a week it's been.. snow everywhere although apparently everyone in the whole country had a damn sight more than we had! Think pretty much every UK school was closed apart from those in Peterborough lol... Ain't that just the way eh?
Anyway this week my friend from work was taken into hospital with gall stones, she's been there since thursday so I thought I'd make her a little card to cheer her up. I used this beautiful Gorjuss girl with the bear and decided I'd use my new promarkers to colour her in.

I think the card looks really cheery and bright so hopefully it should do the trick and cheer her up!

Card recipe: papers: papermania creative tones and forever friends paper packs.
Image: Gorjuss girl coloured with promarkers and mounted on mirri board.
Flowers: All prima with gems from stash
Sentiment: from own stash.

Thanks for looking, hope everyone stays safe in the snow, take care x

Happy Anniversary

Hello! Finally got round to posting something new... at last! Christmas and New Year were just so busy that i just had no time to craft at all... I was so jealous looking at all your blogs that you guys had found time to craft.... obviously just much more organized than me.

Anyway here is an anniversary card that I made for my Grandparents. I had run out of Happy Anniversary sentiments and rather than make my own on the computer or something, I decided to go through my book of vellum quotes that I haven't used for ages and find something appropriate, so I was quite pleased with this one as my grandparents have been together for over 50 years. I found this lovely Tilda as well which i thought just finished the card beautifully.

Anyway enough yapping, here is the card.....

I was so pleased with how this card turned out, as it isn't in my usual style but I thought everything came together really well.

Card Recipe

Papers: Papermania Sweet Nothings and some pink and purple vellum from a Create and Craft set.
Image: Tilda sent to me by Mandy and coloured with watercolour pencils.
Flowers: Prima
Vellum Quote from own stash
Leaves from a woodware punch.

Thanks for stopping by.

Hi, Haven't posted for a while on here, I've been really poorly with swine flu all week which thankfully is now subsiding so i've started to feel more normal again. Just felt so ill! I literally couldn't do anything but lie in bed with the tv on! Yuck! Anyway finally managed to do some cards today be it in my PJ's lol!

Wow what a long post! hope you're still awake lol... Just one more card for you and that's a thank you card for my friend at work who has been an absolute star and really helped me get a lot of jobs done... she adores baking so i thought it would be a good time to test drive my brand new Tilda with Apple Pie!

I'm not completely convinced by the card! I had trouble with the layout and the colours of paper I wanted to use so i'm not too happy with it... i just hope she will like it!

Hobbycrafts NEC!

Hi everyone, hope you're all having a lovely weekend so far... as you know I went to the NEC today courtesy of my lovely boyfriend, who also accompanied me (I know, how good is he?)

Anyway I had a fab time and got some amazing stash! I got my first Magnolia Tilda stamp (Tilda with apple pie) my first two Little Claire's Designs (I could have brought the entire stand because all their designs are just absolutely gorgeous!) A cute christmas stamp set and a beautiful Penny Black stamp.

I also brought two paper packs, two punches (snowflake and little branch) three packs of pro markers, an A3 cutting mat, and 9 different lots of flowers (can never have too many flowers) and finally....... wait for it....... my gorgeous boyfriend brought me a Cuttlebug for christmas!!!!! YAY cannot wait for christmas day now!

Hope those of you who went got some lovely stash too!

Rachelle Anne Miller stamp

Hi again, here's my third christmas card from yesterday, i'm really happy with the colours of this one as they're quite bright but still feel christmassy. Here's the photo anyway...

Also it's the first time I've used flowers on a christmas card and I think they look okay.

Card recipe

Image: Rachelle Anne Miller image coloured with Pro Markers with a touch of stickles glitter glue on the holly berries.

Papers: Papermania Naughty and Nice and Home for Christmas

Flowers: Hero Arts Summer Collection with gems from stash for centres

Sentiment: Daisy and Dandelion

Ribbon: from stash.

I've just finished my first christmas card order now which has pleased me no end! only 6 cards but trying to find the time to actually sit and get them done has been tricky (again that constant problem we crafters have of time!) i've got about 10 more christmas cards on order, then my own to make, then of course some to take in for work colleagues to have a look at lol! Never ends eh? I do love it I just wish there were more hours in the day...

Anyway that's it for another day, going to spend the afternoon catching up on blog hopping and with Most Haunted as I sky plussed last night's episode.

bye for now x

Mo's Digital Pencil Christmas cards

Hi bloggers, here are the two christmas cards I made yesterday with two of my latest Mo's Digital Pencil images. The first is Siku and Shiya (aren't they just gorgeous?)

Card Recipe:

Image: Siku and Shiya from Mo's Digital Pencil, coloured with Promarkers and hoods decorated with glitter flocking powder from my stash.

Papers: Daisy and Dandelion paper pack, Forever friends paper pack and gemstones

Ribbon: from my stash

Sentiment: Daisy and Dandelion

Snowflakes and Mittens: From my stash

Second card is using the Winter Delivery sketch from Mo...( another gorgeous image)

I'm really not happy with the colouring on this card, definitely need some more promarkers i think so I can give more of a blended look. At the moment it's looking too 'felt pen' like.

Card recipe

Image: Winter Delivery by Mo coloured (badly) with promarkers

Papers: Forever Friends paper pack and Papermania Naughty and Nice and Anita's mirri Card

Everything else from own stash

Hope you like them, if you have any comments or suggestions (particularly on my bad colouring) i'd be really grateful. Thanks xx
